Michael Krueger
Owner
Instructor, EMT, WEMT

Shortly after arriving in California, Mike fell in love with the outdoors and everything it has to offer. While working on his computer science degree, Mike earned his Avalanche 1 and 2 certifications from the Silverton Avalanche School.

His love of the outdoors and the environment has led him to work with the Breast Cancer Fund, training teams to climb Mount Shasta and Mount Rainer to raise awareness and money for the fund and continues to work with the Wounded Warrior Project leading outdoor adventures in throughout the West.

Mike is a former member of Northstar ski patrol and two Nordic Search and Rescue teams. He has certifications in Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, Outdoor Emergency Care, Wilderness First Responder, and Mountain Rescue. Mike also teaches Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, AHA CPR and American CPR training courses. He is an Instructor Assistant for the Sierra College EMT class. He and his wife have a Golden Retriever named Summit.

Cameron Stone
Director of Mental Fitness

Cameron has always had an extreme passion for competing and participating in endurance sports. While completing his Bachelor’s degree, he raced competitively all four years on the SDSU Cycling Team.  He also spent multiple years as a licensed USCF racer and has raced many sanctioned road, mountain bike, and cyclocross events

He greatly enjoys assisting individuals in building and strengthening the mental aspects of endurance sports training and competition. The mental and psychological focus required for endurance racing is equally as important to the physical training involved. 

Cameron is very passionate about wilderness and outdoor activities as a vehicle for helping people deal with PTSD and overcome Trauma in their lives.  For the past 3 ½ years, He has been assisting combat veterans overcome PTSD and progress on their healing journey through participation in outdoor/wilderness/adventure therapy.

Over the past 10 years, he has competed in and finished multiple half marathons and is a full marathon finisher, long distance single day cycling races, multi day cross state bicycle tours, and has recently taken up the sport of triathlon and competed in and finished multiple Ironman Races.

Lisa Krueger
Director of Operations

Lisa has worked in the non-profit, venture capital, private equity and the software industry for over 23 years. As a Certified Fundraising Executive she has worked with countless organizations and donors to reach their philanthropic goals. Lisa brings a unique combination of marketing, communications, operations, strategic events, PR, investor relations and finance expertise to her work. As a strong communicator, Lisa is successful in creating partnerships with private entities, local & public agencies to ensure specific strategic goals of a project are met. 

Lisa worked with Secretary of State, John Kerry serving as his Bay Area logistics coordinator on his presidential campaign, and Vice President Joe Biden’s bid. Lisa has managed product launches, produced collateral, developed program initiatives from concept to implementation for Fortune 500 Companies. Recently Lisa restructured an organization resulting in a 40% increase during a down economy.  

Lisa sits on the Asset Development Team of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation. Serves as Marketing and Communications Chair of the Queen of Heart’s Womens’ Fund. Serves as Director of Sponsorships & Demographics for the Truckee Tahoe Air Fair & Festival. 

Avid skier, hiker, mountain climber, mountain biker, all round outdoor enthusiast. 
Received 2004 Commendation from the State of California, Andrea Ravinett Martin Award from Governor Schwarzenegger for work with The Breast Cancer Fund.
