We are committed to doing our part to comply with state and local guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our employees and guest. To that end, our Day Hikes, Backpacking, and Basecamp Adventures are available for private reservations.

BASECAMPS

Basecamp trips with Pika Odysseys are all about taking out the hassles of DIY-adventure vacations. We handle the gear, the food, and the fun. You just bring shoes that look good when dirty.

We leverage the beautiful, national park-worthy surroundings of Lake Tahoe and the Northern Sierra Nevada. Our trips entail an array of custom adventures beyond what we plan for you. Let us know your goals for the trip, and we’ll make it happen, from sunset paddleboarding to scaling the walls on Donner Summit. We’re your adventure concierge. If you’re not sure what you want to do, let us know, we have more than enough recommendations, advice, and wilderness leadership experience. 

Each night we’ll finish up back at camp in time for dinner. You relax, we cook. And if Mother Nature is cooperating, you’ll wind down the night next to a campfire, sipping your beverage of choice and watching embers pulse from red to blue as the moon climbs over Tahoe, the Jewel of the Sierra. 

Our basecamps are an opportunity for friends and families to experience the outdoors, learn about the wilderness, and together enjoy the wonders of nature. Our basecamps activities are customized to meet the requirements of the group.
